Are You New to The Montana Method?
Have you seen the high-energy, dance-inspired workouts on Instagram or TikTok, and wondered if it is right for you? The answer is YES! The Montana Method is open to all fitness levels. You don’t even need to “know how to dance”, and arm and ankle weights are optional. Everyone’s invited to this party! So, what is the Montana Method exactly?
Let’s review a few of the basics:
WHO is Montana?
Yes, that’s my name! I’m Montana Globerman, a fitness instructor born and based in South Florida, and the founder of The Montana Method. I grew up in a very fitness-oriented home; my mother is a Pilates instructor. While getting my classical Pilates certification, I learned that I absolutely love to teach as well!
After teaching Pilates, barre, and dance at several local fitness studios and privately for about 10 years, I decided to take some time off when I had my second child. I realized that I missed moving, teaching, and working with my community. But I knew that I had to stay close to home.
That is when I developed The Montana Method, a full-body workout that incorporates my training in Pilates and barre, as well as, dance and yoga. Then I set up mats in my garage, and invited whoever wanted to come to a few classes a week.
The response was so positive that I opened my first studio in Delray Beach about three years ago. I’ve hired and trained the best, most seasoned fitness instructors to teach The Montana Method with me as well. During the Covid lockdown, I began posting live workouts on Facebook, and attracted a large digital following—which led to the introduction of MM Live. We now offer classes seven days a week and livestream 20 workouts a week via MM Live. The Montana Method has grown from a few women in my garage to members around the world!
WHAT is The Montana Method?
What is the Montana Method exactly? The Montana Method is a high-energy, music-driven, full-body workout. You will improve your fitness, balance, and flexibility, and feel great in your body. It’s challenging for beginners and advanced students alike, as well as pre- and postnatal women, and modifications are suggested throughout the class. To engage every muscle, The Montana Method uses light arm and ankle weights and props like chairs and bars (a broomstick works when you are at home!). The studio is kept at a “warm” 80 degrees and the music is LOUD! The vibe is inclusive, inviting, and truly special.
In addition to The Montana Method, we offer other class formats:
The Mashup (The Montana Method, but with props like chairs and poles)
Tramp & Tone (Rebounder workouts with a mix of cardio and toning)
Dance Cardio (An all-out dance party)
Pilates Fusion (Traditional Pilates mat class)
MM Yoga Flow (Yoga for all levels)

WHY Should I Do The Montana Method?
It’s been proven that the best way to stick with a fitness routine is to do something you enjoy. Women often say they never knew how much FUN they could have while working their tushes off! Whether you’re in the studio or on a mat at home, you’re going to sweat, whoop, and elevate your mood. We like to say it’s like an 8:30am dance party.
HOW Do I Do The Montana Method?
The first step is to sign up for a class either at our Delray Beach studio or on MM Live! At our studio, we offer an Unlimited Monthly Trial Membership for $99. On MM Live, we offer a 14-day trial for $1. Just need a quick workout? We offer single classes both in our studio and online.
At our studio we provide mats, weights, towels, and all props. If you’re joining us from your home, you’ll need a sturdy workout mat, light arm and ankle weights if desired, and a towel and water. (For Tramp class you will need a rebounder.) We recommend wearing fitted workout clothing and athletic shoes.
For best results, it is recommended to attend class three or four times a week! Every class is a full-body workout but it’s never quite the same, so your fitness and your MOOD will always be improving!
